Bill got his start DJing as a teenager, joining a DJ crew in the neighborhood and spinning at DJ battles. Only a senior in high school, Bad Boy Bill started his own record label. He eventually became a household name on Chicago's B96, using his "Bad Boy Bill" audio ID as a way of distinguishing himself from the other DJs on the radio. Today, Bill spends most of his time producing tunes in the studio or out on the road, playing up to 150 gigs annually, everywhere from New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to international hotspots including Peru, Columbia, Germany, England, and Spain.

With six years under their belt and countless international tours to prove it, the Koffin Kats show no sign of slowing down. This trio blasted out of Detroit in June of 2003 with the mission to never stop for anything. Vic Victor (Lead Vocal, Upright Bass) would join forces with long time friend Tommy Koffin (Guitar) and start laying the ground work for the sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats.

They put together songs about drug use, self-loathing, and all things evil. With Eric "E Ball" Walls (Drums) they began to stomp the shit out of Detroit and the surrounding area. The next couple of years proved to be up and down with drummer changes and the release of their first three albums - S/T (2003), Inhumane (2005), and Straying from the Pack (2006).

This onslaught caught the attention of many and helped to cement The Koffin Kats as one of the top acts in the world of punk rockabilly. In 2007 Vic and Tommy hooked back up with Eric to get ready for the fourth album- Drunk in the Daylight (2008) - and began what the Kats are known for- NON STOP TOURING. With their love for their fans and for the road they set out to play everywhere willing to listen to them. They have done this ever since and now have joined forces with Stomp Records to release their 5th album "Forever for Hire" in October 2009.

BASSHUNTER (aka Jonas Altberg) was born 1984 in Halmstad, Sweden. He lives with his parents and younger brother, 5 minutes from Sweden's best beach "Tylsand". He can shortly be described as stubborn and creative person. He started to produce music in 1999 with a little help from the computer program "Fruityloops". The interest of music became bigger and bigger. After a lot of demos spread over the internet, he started to get some phone calls from clubs that wanted to have him as a deejay. In April 2006 he got his first real contact to the music industry when signed a record deal with Warner Music. He released his first single Boten Anna in Scandinavia and it became a hit instantly. It all went very fast, much faster then Basshunter himself ever could expect.

From a normal guy that were very good in computer games he went to the guy that performed almost every day all over Scandinavia. The story continued that his "SWEDISH" song also went no. 2 in Holland on the sales chart, which is historical.

 

Born from the metal and hardcore soul of Norway, COMBICHRIST is the brainchild of Andy LaPlegua. Creating music for much of his life, Andy began his musical empire fronting two highly respected (but very Norway-inclusive) bands: Fleshfire, who split up after releasing an EP, and Lash Out. While playing with Lash Out, Andy felt constricted within the organic side of hardcore and metal and decided it was time to branch out work in electronics and dance beats... which began the influential and seminal band Icon Of Coil. Originally a solo adventure, Andy soon added Sebastian Komor and Christian Lund and it became Andy's first project to be released in the US through Philadelphia's Metropolis Records.

Back in May, Caustic was supposed to record their LIVE DVD at Montreal's KINETIK FESTIVAL. The set was cut short, so Caustic will be recording ANOTHER set to be added to the DVD as well.

Though it was afternoon, the shades in the studio were pulled tight, which seemed appropriate for a Scissor Sisters rehearsal. Nighttime suits this band, which got its start playing flamboyant dance-pop at late-late gigs on the Lower East Side and in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, always with the idea that the best stuff happens in the wee hours, in the dark, when anything, or anyone, is possible.

The three cellists' image further developed by the addition of tightly-laced vintage Victorian costumes, their gothic chamber-pop soon caught the attention of Sony, who issued the group's debut Thanks for the Ether in 1996; Transylvanian Regurgitations, an EP featuring remixes by fan Marilyn Manson, appeared a year later, and in 1998 Rasputina resurfaced with How We Quit the Forest.

By the new millennium, Rybska and Kent had been replaced with Nana Bornant and K. Cowperthwaite. A deal with Instinct surfaced in 2001 and the magical mystery of Cabin Fever appeared the following spring. Bornant's stay was brief; she left in June 2002 and Cowperthwaite followed four months later. Zoe Keating (cello) and first ever male bandmate Jonathon TeBeest were quickly added to the beautiful chaos of Rasputina just in time for the 2003 release of the Lost & Found EP. Frustration Plantation, their most cohesive work to date, appeared in spring 2004. Zoe Keating (cello) and first ever male bandmate Jonathon TeBeest were quickly added to the beautiful chaos of Rasputina just in time for the 2003 release of the Lost & Found EP. Frustration Plantation, their most cohesive work to date, appeared in spring 2004. In 2007 the group released Oh Perilous World, a loosely-connected song suite culled from newspaper clippings that lead singer Melora Creager gathered over a two year period, then juxtaposed with the band's signature 18th century steampunk imagery.

Ginger Fish has been drumming in Marilyn Manson since 1995. His simple yet powerful approach has been the driving force behind Manson's hit albums: Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. Ginger cleverly combines modern drum sequencing and sample loops with traditional drum instruments. Along with an Akai MPC sampler, Ginger uses a double bass/multi-tom drumkit and an array of Z Custom range cymbals to complete his sound. Ginger's unique style and approach to playing have earned him much acclaim and have helped the band reach multi-platinum status. He has been featured in interviews with Modern Drummer and Drum Magazines.

Ginger, a left handed drummer who sets-up right handed, always goes for simplicity and taste in his approach to his playing. According to Ginger, this is why he landed the Manson gig and has been the drummer for this band ever since. DIE WARZAU

Born in 1988 in Chicago, Die Warzau would be just about old enough to legally drink right now, which is fantastic, really, because a lot of bands out there are, I don't want to say drinking "a lot" but, let's face it, they aren't exactly taking it easy. Let's take Creed, for example. They've been around since, what, 1995? this makes them about 14 years old. And they fucking drink like fish. I mean, seriously, listen to "Weathered" and tell me that they weren't swimming in Jack or something. Completely lit. And 14 years old. It's wrong.

I:SCINTILLA

Chicago's I:Scintilla (pronounced eye-sin-til-uh) have jumped from recording demo songs in a bedroom to collaborating with some of modern music's best artists and releasing music on an international level. Fronted by Brittany Bindrim (vocals/words) and backed by Jim Cookas (guitar/programming), Vincent Grech (drums), and Brent Leitner (guitar/programming), the group seamlessly fuses electronic and rock elements while pushing the boundaries of pop music. Bindrim's intensely seductive voice and insightful words paint a dark picture of loss, redemption, and introspection and are delivered via insatiably catchy hooks. The music drapes the mood with intricately layered synthesizers, grinding guitar riffs, and a mix of live and programmed drums. The quartet's unique sound has drawn comparisons to Garbage, Curve, and The Birthday Massacre.

CRUCIFORM INJECTION

Cruciform Injection is a Chicago-based electro-industrial band. The main member is Micah Skaritka, vocals and sequencing. Kassi plays keyboards for live shows, and Brendan7 plays guitar. Every album has many remixes from large European electronic music artists.

THE DEAD ROOM

The Dead Room are an industrial/synth-pop band with an unrelenting hard hitting message for society. A brand new twist,a remix,on Timothy Leary's, "Turn on, tune in... think for yourself and question authority," that would make the anti-establisment crusader proud.

 

DJ Funk is the internationally acclaimed pioneer and undisputed king of Ghetto House music. With tracks licensed to the likes of Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, and Richard 'Humpty' Vission for use in mixed CDs; along with having played 19 countries across 5 continents (sub-headlining with artists Wu Tang Clan, Run DMC, Funk Master Flex, Daft Punk, and Bad Boy Bill to name a few), having licensed deals with Moonshine, Sony, and Virgin Records for mix CDs, and creating a highly predominant house music sub-genre, DJ Funk has accomplished more than most people achieve in an entire lifetime. I was just notified yesterday. I'm sure you can all imagine how shocked I am over this as well.

For those of you who are over 21 this will still be an amazing show. We have gone all out on the lighting setup, and Covenant promises to make this one of their best performances, as they love Chicago. It has been 4 years since they last came through Chicago, when they played a highly insane, sold out show at the Metro. This is the only Midwest show, and who knows how long til they come through again. So let's give them a warm Chicago welcome and give them nothing less than the same that they give us, The best show on this U.S. tour.
